Foundation

Conceived and founded by Professor Henrique Walter Pinotti, its first editor; the inaugural issue is published the same year.

The CBCD is born

Professor Pinotti founds the Brazilian College of Digestive Surgery; ABCD becomes its official journal in the early 1990s.

Zilberstein years

Professor Bruno Zilberstein leads the journal through its first decade of consolidation.
